Seedlings Preschool will be following the health and safety plan considerations set forth by the PA Department of Education and the guidelines set by the CDC.
Our specific safety policy and procedures will be released soon.
Our mission is to offer our students a positive academic environment, with an emphasis on the arts, while preparing them for their future as life-long learners
Seedlings focuses on the individual child's development of self awareness and self-expression.
Seedlings Preschool Program provides a rich classroom environment where children are encouraged to explore and are challenged to learn. Your preschooler will make new friends and develop self-confidence as he or she strengthens cognitive skills. Watch your child demonstrate new learning, and flourish in stimulating classroom environment-while having fun!
Our curriculum is based on a thematic approach. Each theme is integrated into a variety of subject areas including art, music, language arts, social studies, math and science. Field trips and guest artists help reinforce our themes. Children also are exposed to poetry, music, drama, dance and puppetry.
Krista Schaeffer, our teacher for the past 20 years, holds a BS in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Kutztown University. Her assistant, Sandy Clauser, has been with Krista for the past 19 years. Both teachers bring creativity and enthusiasm to this arts and academics based program.
